The 'open world' is badly designed in that it is rarely clear exactly where you have to go, it's mostly open space for the sake of being open space. And don't get me started on big the cat! The chaos however are utterly brilliant creations and kept me coming back to that game fir years and years and years. I have 2 copies of samba de amigo maracas round mine, so does that clearly shows I have mental problems. My samba sessions would last hours at a time, which has resulted in perpetually bulging forearms. As much as I loved sonic adventure, it doesn’t hold up well these days. What made it enjoyable was the caricature stereotype playable characters from each country.
